Founded by Rocco in Los Angeles in 2021 and now based in Nashville, Starlite is an independent label with a big heart. Starlite champions americana, roots rock, and alternative, but it doesn’t believe in boxes. What matters most is talent, originality, and songs.
But Starlite isn’t just a label; it’s personal. The name is a tribute to Rocco’s mom, a talented songwriter in the 1960s whose own music career never got the recognition it deserved. Her spirit and relentless tenacity live on in everything the label does.
Starlite is small but mighty, and music comes first. Always. It rebels against red tape, stale formulas, and endless gatekeeping, and believes in collaboration over control.
